An old man -yes, an old man, an old man was approaching,
an old man was approaching, his prick was hanging down–
it wasn’t so much hanging down as being dragged along.
An old hag met him on his way: – What’s that I see, old man?
– My goad, good lady, which I use to urge my cow along.
Now all of eighty years of age, the gap-toothed hag replied:
– Then come along with me, old man, my innards are on fire.
He gave her one right in the groin; she burst her sides with laughter.

Ένας γέρος ηρκουντάνε
Ένας γέ- ένας γέ- ένας γέρος ηρκουντάνε,
ένας γέρος ηρκουντάνε,
η ψωλή του κρεμουντάνε.
Δεν ιπολοκρεμουντάνε, μόνο κάτω συρνουντάνε.
Και του ’πάντηξε μια γριά: – Γέρο, ίντα ’ν’ αυτό να;
– Το βουκέντρι μου, κυρά μου, που λαλώ την αελιά1 μου.
Μα η γριά η κουτσοδόντα, που ’χε φτάσει τα ογδόντα:
– Έλα, γέρο, με τα μένα, που ’ν’ τα μέσα μου καμένα!
Και της δίνει μια στα σκέλια, ξεκαρδίζεται στα γέλια.
