μην είδες τον ασίκη2 μου, τρυγόνα, μωρή τρυγόνα,
τον αγαπητικό μου, τον άντρα το δικό μου;

– ν-Εψές προψές τον είδαμε στον κάμπο ξαπλωμένο
μαύρα πουλιά τον τρώγανε κι άσπρα τον τριγυρνούσαν.
