Περιβόλι ν-είχα, η πάπια μ’, περιβόλι ν-είχα
περιβόλι ν-είχα νεραντζοσπαρμένο.

Νεραντζοσπαρμένο, η πάπια μ’, νεραντζοσπαρμένο
νεραντζοσπαρμένο και στ’ άνθη γεμισμένο.

Κι από κάτω απ’ τ’ άνθη και το νεραντζάκι
πέρδικα καθόταν και δροσολογιόταν.

Κι από τη δροσιά της, πέσανε τα φτερά της
τα χρυσοπούπουλά της.
