Notes
The gaida is three tube bagpipe, not very different from the Scottish or Italian variety. The first tube (chanter or fingering tube) has seven openings in the front and one in the back for the thumb and is provided by the lungs of the player. The third tube provides the drone. A two-tube variant of the gaida - used only in islands - is the tsabouna. The bag of the gaida is usually made of frat-skin. Markos. Ph. Dragoumis (1974)
