A local dance of Florina in Greek Macedonia, also known as "omorfoula'. in 4/4 meter. The clarinet appeared in greek folk music around 1835. It is now one of the most popular folk instruments, especially on the mainland.
The santouri resembles the cimbalum and comprises three or four octaves. Each note is produced by three strings luned in unison.The strings are struck by two slender sticks, the stricking edge of which is wrapped in cotton or leather. Markos Ph. Dragoumis (1974)
