Yet another example of 'table' music. It consists of a slow introduction for santouri and a main section on 4/4 time. The santouri resembles the cimbalum and comprises three or four octaves. Each note is produced by three strings luned in unison.
The strings are struck by two slender sticks, the stricking edge of which is wrapped in cotton or leather. Markos Ph. Dragoumis (1974)
