To hear the hawk cry and the falcon speak,

να σύρω να- να σύρω να ξημερωθώ.
Να σύρω να ξημερωθώ, βουνό μου στην κορφή σου
να κάμω κύκλο στο βουνό, βολίτα στη μαδάρα
να βρω μια μπέτρα ριζιμιά, να διπλωθώ να κάτσω
ν’ ακούσω γερακιού φωνή και φάλκο να λαλήσει
ν’ ακούσω και την πέρδικα να γλυκοκακαρίσει
ν’ ακούσω πετροκότσυφο.
